POLISH COMFORT FOOD COOKING CLASS – ONLINE

Book our Polish comfort food cooking class to treat yourself to the instant mood booster! Comfort food’s main role is to put a smile on your face and the meal you will eat at the end of this online class will do just that! So, select any three of 10 proposed dishes and discover traditional Polish comfort food evergreens with a modern twist. All dishes are vegetarian, but if you wish to add meat or fish, let me know.

The recipes chosen for this live-streamed workshop are inspired by the Polish cuisine, dishes are vegetarian, in line with zero waste philosophy, and, last but not least, they are simply delicious!

Upon booking, please, select ANY THREE dishes you want to discover and send us the list. Feel free to ask any questions you might have at this point. Next, the participants will receive a detailed list of ingredients and utensils for the class.

about the Polish comfort food cooking class

NOTE: all the options require basic kitchen equipment such as pans, frying pans, knives, spoons, cookers, kitchen robots, graters. Whenever an oven is necessary, you can find an appropriate note.

The online Polish comfort food class lasts between 2 and 3 hours depending on your selection of dishes. Once I know what dishes you choose, I will be able to specify the duration of the workshop.

This comfort food culinary workshop is only available upon request. MInimum number of participants per booking: 4.  We run this class on zoom, therefore, you can connect with multiple devices from multiple locations.

Starters:

Stuffed eggs – eggs, sour cream, breadcrumbs, butter

Stuffed mushrooms – chanterelles, cheese, oven

Soups

Beetroot soup – beetroots, vegetables for stock, lemon, vinegar

Pumpkin soup – pumpkin, sweet potatoes or carrots, coconut milk,

Tomato soup – canned tomatoes, carrots

Main courses

Kopytka – mashed potatoes, starch, eggs

Potato rostis – potatoes, egg, flour, sour cream as a topping

Baked omelette – eggs, sour cream

Chick peas/sweet corn/Green peas/spinach/beetroot/pumpkin/peppers/cherry tomatoes, dried tomatoes/Goat cheese/camembert/brie/cheddar

Gołąbki – Cabbage Rolls – cabbage, rice, lentils, carrots, onions

Carrot and ginger rostis with jogurt – carrots, ginger, milk, flour, eggs

desserts:

Kisiel – fruit jelly with sour cream on top – fresh or frozen red fruits, starch

Racuchy – apples, eggs, flour, milk, vegetable oil
