I only had a short layover and chose this as the key thing I did while in Warsaw. It was an absolutely lovely experience. While the class was created for tourists, it was very authentic. I love knowing that it is a small business owned by a local Polish woman who managed to overcome the pandemic to keep it going. If you’re visiting Warsaw, do this! Coming home with the recipe was worth the price of admission alone!Posted on Google

Definitely worth it The venue is SO CUTE, as a solo traveler I felt comfortable from the moment I walked in the door. The instructor, Daria, was great, and she, along with the other participants, made this experience memorable. Anne LEFEUVRE3 days agoNous sommes ravies du moment passé avec Maria et son assistant. Le lieu est lumineux, spacieux et propre, l’accueil sympathique. Les différentes farces étaient déjà prêtes , nous avons surtout appris à malaxer et façonner la pâte, puis à remplir et ourler les pierogis. Maria nous a montré comment les cuire et pendant la cuisson nous a expliqué tout un tas d’astuces. Finalement nous les avons dégustés autour d’une grande table conviviale. Frauke6 days agoDer Kurs hat Spaß gemacht und war kurzweilig und informativ. Man hat Pierogi mit verschiedenen Füllungen hergestellt und später alle Sorten probiert. Es gab vegane, vegetarische Füllungen und Füllungen mit Fleisch. Es war ein tolles Erlebnis. Später hat man noch das Rezept und Fotos vom Kurs erhalten.Posted on Airbnb

An enjoyable experience! But slightly uncomfortable. Unfortunately the atmosphere was very tense. The host, who never introduced himself to our group was very strict and we felt he almost didn’t want us there. He was impatient with the guests and unwelcoming. The cooking experience was fun, but wasn’t as interactive as we’d hoped. Overall I think being welcomed with the opportunity for refreshments on arrival, and an introduction to the host and everyone in the course would have made for a better experience. The Course itself was good enough, but we were paired up two and two. We expected that every paying person would get their own «workstation». Also the instructor was somewhat direct and blunt, and his English was lacking. I think that if we would have a different instructor the experience would have been very much better.Posted on Google

Fantastic pierogi-making experience! We had a fantastic experience at Pierogi & More! Our group booked a private pierogi-making class, and Ben guided us through the whole process, from making the dough to filling the pierogi with different delicious flavours. Ben explained everything very clearly and made the class fun and easy to follow. But the best part came after cooking our homemade pierogi: sitting down together, eating them and tasting all the different flavours! Eva14 days agoHet was oké, naar mijn mening geen 60€ waard. Vond de instructies erg streng en de omgangsmanieren matig. Had hogere verwachtingen ervan. De liquor die ze zogenaamd zelf maakt hebben we trouwens de dag erna op het vliegveld terug gevonden, dus daarvoor hoef je het niet te doen. Ook aangegeven dat ik allergieën had van te voren, maar hier was nog geen rekening mee gehouden. Na dit wederom te melden is hier wel wat op aangepast, maar door de manier van praten voelde ik me niet fijn hierover.Posted on Airbnb

Kelsey P17 days agoVery fun and delicious class This was such a fun experience! We all got cute little aprons and shared a pierogi station. The teacher walked us step by step how to make the dough, roll it flat, cut the circles, and then several different techniques to fold the dumplings. Once they were made the teacher boiled them and served them nice and hot. When they say come hungry they weren't kidding! We had a lot left over. We also got to try traditional Polish liquor. I enjoyed it so much that making pierogi has now become my Friday tradition! Underwhelming and uncomfortable. Not a memorable experience, except in a bad way. The owner had an intern working for her and every direction to the intern was demeaning to the intern.. The owner asked at the beginning if it was okay for her to provide direction to the intern and we all sat silent because we had no idea what was going to happen.Posted on ViatorJennifer_D87 days agoGrace Under Pressure and Great Experience Our young host was energetic, knowledgable and a great communicator! The staff was prepared, food was fresh and was presented well. We enjoyed tasting our creations and meeting other guests. Sadly, there was a group with 2 young guests who were critical from the moment they arrived. Nothing was ‘good enough’ for them. From seating arrangements (that had been well thought out by staff for individual group photographers), to the equipment provided, and the food arrangements. If you’ve never attended a cooking class - the typical model is that different groups make different versions of the recipe- and the food is then shared across the broader group of attendees. If you’ve never attended are uncomfortable with strangers making your food (like a restaurant or at a friends home) you might want to pass on a cooking class. These 2 young women continued complaining and disrupting and insulting the other guests. The leader of the pack refused to join the dinner, blamed the other guests and convincer her group of coworkers to leave. Under the circumstances, the staff handled it as gracefully as possible. The remaining guests enjoyed the wonderful pirogies, meeting others from around the world and sharing travel stories!!Posted on Viator

Looking for a perfect travel experience when visiting #Warsaw? I recommend taking a 'pierogi workshop' at Pierogi & MORE. Book them in advance because they are amazing. You learn, you cook, you eat. Anne Collins1107 days agoOur group did a food tour with Maria. We were 4 adults and 2 children. As kids are not always included, Maria had to adjust to them and she did a great job! She gave them tasks and things to look for. We enjoyed stories about Warsaw and had some delicious tastes. I would do it again in a heart best!!Posted on Facebook
