Fantastic pierogi-making experience! We had a fantastic experience at Pierogi & More! Our group booked a private pierogi-making class, and Ben guided us through the whole process, from making the dough to filling the pierogi with different delicious flavours. Ben explained everything very clearly and made the class fun and easy to follow. But the best part came after cooking our homemade pierogi: sitting down together, eating them and tasting all the different flavours! Het was oké, naar mijn mening geen 60€ waard. Vond de instructies erg streng en de omgangsmanieren matig. Had hogere verwachtingen ervan. De liquor die ze zogenaamd zelf maakt hebben we trouwens de dag erna op het vliegveld terug gevonden, dus daarvoor hoef je het niet te doen. Ook aangegeven dat ik allergieën had van te voren, maar hier was nog geen rekening mee gehouden. Na dit wederom te melden is hier wel wat op aangepast, maar door de manier van praten voelde ik me niet fijn hierover.Posted on Google

Enjoyable class. Small group which was nice. Making and folding the dough was fun and something new. It felt ever so slightly rushed at times, like the instructor was just trying to get through a to do list. Kelsey P6 days agoVery fun and delicious class This was such a fun experience! We all got cute little aprons and shared a pierogi station. The teacher walked us step by step how to make the dough, roll it flat, cut the circles, and then several different techniques to fold the dumplings. Once they were made the teacher boiled them and served them nice and hot. When they say come hungry they weren't kidding! We had a lot left over. We also got to try traditional Polish liquor. This was a great introduction to Polish culture and cuisine, highly recommended!Posted on Google

Maria is a cheerful and engaging host with a wealth of knowledge, which she shares in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Special greetings to her assistant, Gustaw, as well! 😊 Knowing that you are eating food you helped prepare with your own hands makes it taste even better. Underwhelming and uncomfortable. Not a memorable experience, except in a bad way. The owner had an intern working for her and every direction to the intern was demeaning to the intern.. The owner asked at the beginning if it was okay for her to provide direction to the intern and we all sat silent because we had no idea what was going to happen.Posted on ViatorJennifer_D76 days agoGrace Under Pressure and Great Experience Our young host was energetic, knowledgable and a great communicator! The staff was prepared, food was fresh and was presented well. We enjoyed tasting our creations and meeting other guests. Sadly, there was a group with 2 young guests who were critical from the moment they arrived. Nothing was ‘good enough’ for them. From seating arrangements (that had been well thought out by staff for individual group photographers), to the equipment provided, and the food arrangements. If you’ve never attended a cooking class - the typical model is that different groups make different versions of the recipe- and the food is then shared across the broader group of attendees. If you’ve never attended are uncomfortable with strangers making your food (like a restaurant or at a friends home) you might want to pass on a cooking class. These 2 young women continued complaining and disrupting and insulting the other guests. The leader of the pack refused to join the dinner, blamed the other guests and convincer her group of coworkers to leave. Under the circumstances, the staff handled it as gracefully as possible. The remaining guests enjoyed the wonderful pirogies, meeting others from around the world and sharing travel stories!!Posted on Viator

Ive made them before but I think I overcomplicated things. These were absolutely delicious, and the recipe was very simple. The tips and timing were very helpful. I took it with my dad’s wife while on vacation in Poland, and we had an amazing time. Daria was fun, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable, sharing traditions and techniques passed down through generations. Plus, she could totally pass as Taylor Swift’s twin! 😂 I definitely need more practice with the dough (that’s on me!), but I was still proud to earn my certificate. Getting to enjoy all the delicious food we made afterward, along with some traditional liquor, made the experience even more special. Looking for a perfect travel experience when visiting #Warsaw? I recommend taking a 'pierogi workshop' at Pierogi & MORE. Book them in advance because they are amazing. You learn, you cook, you eat. Anne Collins1096 days agoOur group did a food tour with Maria. We were 4 adults and 2 children. As kids are not always included, Maria had to adjust to them and she did a great job! She gave them tasks and things to look for. We enjoyed stories about Warsaw and had some delicious tastes. I would do it again in a heart best!!Posted on Facebook

If I could give this workshop a 7 or 8, I WOULD!! This Pierogi Workshop was the highlight of our trip. Maria was professional and on top of everything – from planning to confirming and to accommodating our group (even when we were late) easily and with a high level of confidence and clarity on the experience. Don’t doubt that this is food tourist experience to book!

Maria’s Pierogi workshop was awesome! She and her assistant were outstanding hosts and our group made wonderful dumplings better than we ever could have. Nice place and super great atmosphere. Recommend this food tourist experience to everyone going to Warsaw!

This food experience was so pleasant and easy paced. Maria is an excellent teacher and sets up the ingredients so we can cover a lot of techniques in a short time. Her patience was tested by my 10-thumb hands! Eating our products at the end were the best perogis ever! Can’t wait to return from from my trip to give my new skills a test. Definitely worth the class-fee!

Our instructor was amazing. We made lots of savoury pierogis and the host gave us lots of practical tips including how to make special ‘sweet cheese and berries’ pierogis the way his Grandma used to make during the summer, and how to store and freeze pierogis for later. 5 stars! I would come again (though I’m a certified master pierogi chef now :). Highly recommended to all tourists who are looking for a food related experience!
