Polish cookery class – Meet the team
Pierogi & More is a cookery class founded in January 2019 by Maria Oskroba.
We started with a course for a solo traveller and, over the years, grew to become the #1 ranked culinary experience in Warsaw. Initially, we offered only Polish pierogi cookery class, but over time our offer expanded to include Italian pasta copurses, Argentinian empanadas baking workshops, and Alsatian-style pizza classes.
The recipes for Polish dishes that we use in cookery classes all come from a handwritten cookbook that the owner inherited from her Granny Helena.
Pierogi & More is a family-run business. Our cookery classes and food tours are hosted by Maria and her two sons. For some experiences, we also contract our other instructors—mainly friends and family members, some of whom have been with us since the very beginning.
About the cookery class team
MARIA – an experienced cook and passionate lover of ethnic cuisine and travel. She left her corporate job to host guests first in a small restaurant, and later in cooking workshop. She also hosts Polish food tours in the Old Town.
MICHAŁ – a favourite instructor of every group, with extensive experience and a talent for creating a great atmosphere. He will make you want to cook pierogi every day!
TOMEK – an experienced cooking instructor who simply loves food and experiments in the kitchen!

Languages
All team members speak fluent English. All open classes are conducted in English. Private workshops can also be arranged in French, German or Polish.
Recipes for dishes made during our cooking courses are available in English, Polish, and French. If you need materials in another language, please let us know.
